With more than a decade of experience in elementary education and instructional leadership, Lauren Vann served as an assistant principal at Saxe Gotha Elementary and Red Bank Elementary. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to student achievement, teacher development and creating a positive, supportive school culture.

Before entering school administration, Vann taught second, fourth and fifth grades. She served as a team leader, mentor and facilitator of professional learning for early-career educators during her time as a classroom teacher. She also worked as a math interventionist and instructional coach, using student data to implement targeted Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies and drive academic growth.

Mr. Gantt brings a wealth of experience to Centerville Elementary. He has extensive experience teaching Physical Education and Middle Level Science, having taught at Northside Middle School and Saluda River Academy for the Arts before joining Centerville Elementary.

As a physical education teacher at Centerville, he is well-known, respected, and loved by the entire Aviator community - staff, students, and families. His leadership skills were honed during his tenure as an Assistant Administrator at Northside Middle School. He is a strong advocate for student-centered learning, promoting innovative teaching strategies, inquiry-based experiences, and providing opportunities for student voice and choice. Additionally, Mr. Gantt excels in collaboration and communication, working effectively with teachers, administrators, parents, and community members to promote student success.
